Irina is a Finnish singer, living in Heinola. The leadman of a popular Finnish rock band called Apulanta, Toni Wirtanen asked Irina to sing the theme song to a Finnish tv-serie, Juulian totuudet. As the song was a success and record labels got interest in Irina's beautiful voice, Irina's debut album Vahva was released in 2004. The album contains the hits, "Juulian Totuudet", "Vastaukset", "Vahva" and "Kuurupiiloa". The album was awarded as the best debut album of the year 2004 in the Finnish Emma-awards and Irina herself was awarded to be the best new artist of the year.
